American Cancer Society Teams Up with Local Organizations for Cancer Survivor Celebration

Have you battled and beat cancer or are still on the road to recovery, or perhaps recently diagnosed? If so, you and your loved ones are invited to celebrate life with us on Sunday, March 28, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a cancer survivor celebration brunch. This brunch is open to anyone who is a cancer survivor, and will take place at the Crowne Plaza in Nashua. Sit back and relax, enjoy brunch, share laughs with your family and listen to our guest speakers as they share their uplifting experiences. This year's Keynote Speaker is New Hampshire resident Ronald Bye from the Seacoast area. Ron Bye was diagnosed with cancer at the ripe old age of 20 and told he would not likely see his 25th birthday with a 5 year prognosis less than 10%. Within hours of hearing that devastating news, he never again even considered he would not live. Come listen as he recounts his journey through cancer diagnosis, treatment and the process of surviving, persevering through treatments, and ultimately to self awareness and healing. Ron states that "we never know just what we are capable of until we are forced to endure hardship and move beyond." Ron found the road to healing through giving back to the cancer community through his advocacy efforts.

If you and your loved ones would like to attend this free event, please call MedCall at St. Joseph Hospital at (800) 210.9000 ext. 2. Pre-registration is required. Call early to reserve your seat, as space is limited.
