Nurses at St. Joseph Hospital are committed to involving you, your family and support persons in making decisions about your care to ensure it is personalized to your needs. Our RNs use evidence based practice to assure your care is the best it can be and many are recognized as experts in their field through certification in nursing organizations such as oncology, emergency, medical-surgical, geriatrics and cardiac care. St. Joseph Hospital nurses' have been designated as Magnet Nurses, by the American Credentialing Association for the care they provide.
While at St. Joseph Hospital, you may receive care from Nursing Assistants (LNA) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN's) both licensed by the State of New Hampshire and key members of your care team. Your interactions with LPNs and LNAs is in collaboration with and under delegation of the RN, to provide physical care, comfort or nutritional needs.
