Adult Day Health CenterAt the Adult Day Health Center, we recognize the daily challenges you may face as a caregiver for a spouse, parent or an adult friend. We also understand how meaningful and important it is for your loved one to have something to look forward to each day. At the Adult Day Health Center, we offer an alternative. We provide a caring, safe and comfortable setting for our members. If your loved one faces a chronic illness, we are here to help and provide care for a variety of conditions, including post stroke, Alzheimer's Disease and dementia. Members are medically monitored throughout the day, and may receive any of the following services on-site, according to their individual needs and physician's orders:
The Center is staffed by registered nurses, a licensed social worker, activities coordinator, personal care attendants and volunteers. A medical director oversees member care and is available for on-site care and consultation. Adults needing medical, social or psychological support in a supervised setting are eligible to join our program. Potential participants undergo a medical evaluation prior to enrollment, however, do not need a medical diagnosis to attend. Hospital and home assessments of your loved one are also available through the St. Joseph Adult Day Health Center. The Adult Day Health Center accepts Medicaid and private pay.
