The endoscopy unit at St. Joseph Hospital serves adult and geriatric populations. Physician staff are Richard Dai, MD; Mark Malleck, MD, and Dennis Shea, MD. Our nursing staff, most of who are gastroenterology certified nurses, assist the gastroenterologist during a procedure.
Procedures are performed to screen for colon cancer, irritable bowel syndrome, Crohn’s Disease, ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease.
