Physician Roger Dionne conceived of a place where seniors could go and access healthcare services and programs easily.
With the full support of St. Joseph Hospital administration, physicians and staff, that concept became a reality.
Patients of The Roger Dionne, MD, Senior Center enjoy the advantage of receiving, at one outpatient location,
many levels and types of care, including:

Our board-certified physicians act as primary care providers or as consultants to other physicians. They are responsible for seeing patients in the office, overseeing the care provided by the Geriatric Nurse Practitioners (GNP’s) and providing care in the nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
Working closely with the physicians, our GNP’s provide nursing care, perform physical examinations, discuss medical changes and conditions, and provide diet, exercise and other health education to patients in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
The Roger Dionne, MD, Senior Center also offers counseling and therapy for individuals, families or groups. Our social worker provides information about available community services, facilitates support groups for caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia, and provide one-on-one consultations with customized packets of information, articles, resources and support services for your specific situation.
Best of all, these healthcare professionals work together as an interdisciplinary team to deliver the absolute best care in an environment of compassion, dignity and respect.
