One-on-One Support

Lactation Program and Support

During your hospital stay, our committed nursing team will spend one-on-one time with you and your newborn. Our certified lactation consultants will help you learn how to breast- or bottle-feed your baby and ensure you’re entirely comfortable with whichever option you choose.

At-home Support

When you leave our Maternal Child Health Center, compassionate care follows you home. Our nursing staff is available by phone 24/7 to answer questions about you or your baby. If you need additional support breastfeeding or bottle-feeding, a lactation consultant will follow-up with you and continue to provide support for as long as you need it. If you’d like to arrange for an outpatient lactation visit, please contact Teri D’Onofrio at 603.595.5300 - ext. 66047 or tdonofrio@sjhnh.org.
