COVID-19 CommunityTesting at
St. Joseph Hospital

  • Beginning on March 2nd, 2021, COVID-19 Testing will be offered to any member of our community at our Main Hospital Campus located on 172 Kinsley St., Nashua, NH. Appointments are not required. However, you must call (603) 884-5679 upon parking at the hospital for further instructions.  Do not enter the hospital until instructed to do so.

  • The COVID Testing site at St. Joseph Hospital offers a PCR nasal swab test only. This can be performed on symptomatic or asymptomatic patients. Tests results should be provided within 72 hours of collection via MyChart (which you will be registered for upon arrival). However, all patients testing positive for COVID will be called directly.

  • FOR PATIENTS SEEKING RAPID COVID TESTING, the community testing site does not offer rapid testing. However, we do offer rapid testing for eligible patients at St. Joseph Hospital Urgent Care in Milford, the St. Joseph Hospital Emergency Department in Nashua, and through our primary care practices for current patients.  For more information about rapid testing click here

Hours of Operation

  • Monday-Friday 7AM-4PM

  • Saturday 7AM-11AM

  • Closed on Sundays and all major holidays.

Instructions for Patients Upon Arrival at St. Joseph Hospital:

  • Upon arrival, please remain in your car and call (603) 884-5679 to be registered over the phone. Once the registrar hands the paperwork over to the phlebotomist, they will call you again and provide further instructions to proceed to the designated COVID testing parking spots. You will then be brought in through a separate entrance and tested.

  • Most insurance plans cover testing in full, however, if financial assistance is needed, applications will be available.

  • Interpreter Services will also be available.

  • If you are uninsured or do not have full coverage benefits for COVID-19 testing, New Hampshire Medicaid has established a COVID-19 Testing Benefit that may or may not pay for testing and diagnosis of COVID-19 for persons who are not already a Medicaid beneficiary and do not have full coverage for COVID-19 testing and diagnosis.  Applications are available at https://nheasy.nh.gov.
