COVID-19 Testing at St. Joseph Hospital

As of 12/30/20, we will no longer be operating our Community COVID Testing site at Milford Medical Center. As such, we have updated our hours and locations for individuals in our community who need to be tested below:

For Symptomatic COVID testing, click here

For Asymptomatic COVID testing (no symptoms):

  • Asymptomatic COVID Testing will be done at the Main Hospital Campus (172 Kinsley St. Nashua, NH).  

    • PCR Testing Only (Throat swab)

    • Mon-Fri 7AM-4PM

      • Saturday Hours will begin January 9th, 2021 (7AM to 11AM)

      • Closed on major Holidays (New Year’s Day 1/1/2021)

    • Patients must have a COVID test order from their provider.

    • Non-St. Joseph Hospital providers may fax order to 603-578-5058. 

    • This is a walk-in service.  No appointments needed. 

    • Upon arrival, patients should remain in car and call #603-884-5679 when they arrive where they will be registered over the phone.  They will be given directions to go to the designated COVID parking spots and will be called inside in the order they are received. 

  • Most insurance plans cover testing in full, however, if financial assistance is needed, applications will be available.

  • Interpreter Services will also be available

  • If you are uninsured or do not have full coverage benefits for COVID-19 testing, New Hampshire Medicaid has established a COVID-19 Testing Benefit that may pay for testing and diagnosis of COVID-19 for persons who are not already a Medicaid beneficiary and do not have full coverage for COVID-19 testing and diagnosis.  Applications are available at https://nheasy.nh.gov.

Understanding Your Test Results:

  • Once you've had your COVID-19 test, you'll receive a brochure that explains how to access your test results at www.MyChart.covh.org, as well as what to do while waiting for your results and how to interpret your results.
