NASHUA, NH – August 27, 2018 – St. Joseph Hospital, a member of Covenant Health, is pleased to announce the addition of family practitioner, Dr. Mark Messier to St. Joseph Family Medicine at 460 Amherst Street, Nashua. This is another step to expanding access to compassionate, high-quality healthcare in Nashua and its surrounding communities.

“Dr. Messier brings a significant amount of experience to our organization and community. We’re confident he’ll be a great addition to our existing team of physicians,” said Donald Reape, MD, Medical Director of Physician Practices, St. Joseph Hospital. “He has committed himself to serving the health needs of families, while also working to improve access to care in underserved areas – something that is integral to our own mission.”

“I’m honored to join the St. Joseph Hospital family and its talented team of family medicine providers,” said Messier. “I believe building strong, caring relationships with patients and their families, at the primary care level, is one of the best ways to keep people healthy over the long-term. St Joseph Family Medicine will help me do just that.”

Messier graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in physics from the University of Massachusetts and his Doctorate in Medicine from Tufts School of Medicine. Over the course of his career, he has earned several honors, including being inducted as Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and earning an award for outstanding patient care and resident teaching from Womack Army Hospital.
