Parenthood: Preparing and Beyond  

Understanding Birth – This interactive, self-paced online course delivers essential information to help prepare expectant parents for a healthy, fulfilling birth experience. Engaging videos, life-like 3D animation and personal birth stories give you the knowledge and insight you need to make informed decisions about labor and delivery. You’ll even create your own birth plan.

Understanding Your Newborn – This eClass will help you gain the confidence you need to care for your baby. You and your support person will learn about the specific care your baby needs in the first six weeks and beyond as well as understand importance of baby cues, early brain development and bonding. You’ll also gain valuable insight into topics including newborn traits and behaviors, crying and comforting, feeding, diapering, bathing, nailcare, infant CPR and more.

Education and Support Session with a Childbirth Educator – Our childbirth educator will call you to follow up on the information you received in the online classes, answer any questions you may have, and to support you as you move through your pregnancy journey.

Parent Support Group

Monday's 10:00am to 11:30am

We are currently offering this support group through a virtual setting due to COVID restrictions. 

Our experience staff creates a positive, safe community for you to share the joys and challenges of parenthood with other parents. As part of this group, you will learn tips and tricks on a variety of topics such as feeding, soothing, communication, self-care and more.

Child Passenger Safety Program (car seat fittings/checks)

When you deliver, please let your nurse know if you would like one of our certified technicians to walk you through installing/checking your child's car seat in your vehicle. We will be happy to help you with this and will provide car seat safety education at that time as well. 

Breastfeeding Support

Prenatal Yoga - open to all stages of pregnancy: Pregnancy is a beautiful time to begin or reignite a yoga practice. Labor and delivery is a full body workout. Strengthen and condition your body in preparation for childbirth through sitting, standing and balancing postures - all safe for any trimester. Our practice begins with a time of sharing with other moms and ends with a final relaxation bonding with your baby to be. Appropriate for new moms just easing back into their practice.
