Trauma Services

St. Joseph Hospital Emergency Services in Nashua, New Hampshire, has been a state-of-the-art trauma center for more than 30 years. A trauma center is a hospital that is equipped and staffed to provide specialty care to patients suffering from major traumatic injuries such as falls, motor vehicle collisions, or gunshot wounds.

Stroke Care

The Stroke Team Activation is our emergency stroke response procedure, which provides immediate diagnosis and treatment of patients exhibiting stroke symptoms, 24/7. This rapid response of trained personnel, board-certified emergency providers, which is crucial to saving lives and reducing harmful long-term side effects.

EMS Services

St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire, proudly supports our First Responders. We are a Medical Resource Hospital for 17 First Responder Agencies, including Municipal Fire, EMS, Police Departments, and Non-Municipal Emergency Response Teams.

Our pre-hospital providers are a critical part of the emergency care continuum for all patients who are transported to our hospital by ambulance. We are a recognized Level III Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, Accredited Level III Geriatric Emergency Department, and Primary Stroke Center. We also provide premier Cardiac Catheterization Services.
