Rehabilitation Team
Your Rehabilitation Team
Rehabilitation is a team effort, involving you, your family, and various rehabilitation specialists. Led by a board-certified physiatrist (a doctor who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation), your rehabilitation specialists meet weekly to evaluate your progress, set appropriate goals, and develop a comprehensive program to meet your rehabilitation needs.
Each morning, you will receive a schedule of therapies for the day. In addition to personalized care, we pride ourselves on providing innovative therapies. So after working one-on-one with a physical therapist, you may tend to plants in our beautiful outdoor rehabilitation garden or work with one of the friendly volunteer dogs that participate in our Pet Therapy Program. We also offer a number of special programs including a brace clinic and brain injury and stroke support groups for patients and families.
