At St. Joseph Hospital Neurology our experienced physician and caring staff look forward to partnering with you for your neurological healthcare needs. Dr. Rahman is Board Certified in Neurology.

The following treatments for disorders of the nervous system are available:

EMG and Nerve Conduction Studies for

  • diabetic and other neuropathies
  • carpal tunnel syndrome
  • ulnar neuropathy at the elbow

EEG Testing

An electroencephalogram is a test that your doctor may order if you have experienced any neurological issues, such as seizure activity.  It provides your doctor with vital information about your brain and its electrical activity by distinguising  seizures from other causes of loss/alteration of consciousness.

At the St. Joseph Hospital EEG Department, we perform various types of EEGs, including routine EEGs, ambulatory EEGs, and pediatric EEGs.  All  EEGs are reviewed by our board certified Neurologist,  Khawaja Rahman M.D. Pediatric EEGs are reviewed by board certified Child Neurologist Brian Kossak, M.D.

Park your car on the second level (yellow level) of the Medical Arts parking garage.  Upon entering the hospital, turn right and proceed into the Medical Arts Building East.  Go down the ramp and turn to the right at the end of the hall.  The Sleep Center/EEG Department is the first door on the right in Suite 202.
